It highly encourages and supports the idea of women taking the lead. The word Dhuku: is a Newari word, which translates to Dhukuti in Nepali; meaning it is a treasury box to preserve our antiques or properties. Dhuku: is an initiative to represent local women craftsmanship producing local products with locally available materials. It is curated in quality and with years of expertise in its use of materials.
