Dhuku: Handicraft store is a concept store based in Nepal, that prioritizes selling local and handmade items prepared by women entrepreneurs and workers. It highly encourages and supports the idea of women taking the lead. Hence, one aspect of our organisation is to provide a platform for women to showcase their handmade and local products and the other is to support women-led campaigns and organizations. The word Dhuku: is a Newari word, which translates to Dhukuti in Nepali; meaning it is a treasury box to preserve our antiques or properties. Dhuku: is an initiative to represent local women craftsmanship producing local products with locally available materials. It is curated in quality and with years of expertise in its use of materials.
